Adam_h Thanks for your feedback regarding stevia. I drink a lot of green tea/black tea use stevia with it all the time. I am concerned that maybe I am using too much of it. I'm also wondering if my use of stevia BEFORE my workouts is a bad idea? As mentioned, stevia is used to increase insulin production and I am assuming that is not what I want to do first of all, and definitely not before exercising. Am I getting this right? Thanks again for your help.

I would say that's right. The tech gave several responses on the other thread. Sears says stevia is "good" as sugars go, but it is still an unfavorabe carb. I would suggest a Zone snack including favorable carbs is the best pre-workout tip. (a half hour before you start exercising)
