I just bought the Omega RX fish oil liquid and have a question. The Consistency is watery rather than oily, somewhat like a fish soup stock. If it's pure oil, how can it be like water? Is something wrong with it? I had been taking the Carlson brand which is more palatable and pours and looks like oil. Anyone with experience with this, let me know. Thanks, Jo in SF PS, I tried the search feature and wasn't succesful.

The Sears OmegaRx Oil flows like water because it is an ethyl esther form of fish oil rather than a triglyceride form like you would normally find. The ethyl esther is a superior form that permeates the cell membranes better than the triglyceride form. I can assure you that you have the right product and it is 100% oil. Thanks

Oh, now I remember this being discussed previously. Thanks. I've been on the new product for three days. The firt two days I had a headache after the one tsp. So I cut to 1/2 tsp today and it seems ok. I probably don't need that much, since I've been zoning for three years now and feel pretty good. I'd been using 1 tsp of the Carlson's before, but it isn't as potent. JO
