Hi everyone! My name is Franco, I am 34 from Meriden, Connecticut. I just started the zone diet today and look foward to being shredded by the summer and living a happier and healthier life! I am 6'7" and weigh 226, which I thought was light for a guy of my height but my gut says differently....lol! Can you really eat regular food like Mickey D's and Wendy's and all all of the other garbage I have been consuming for all of this time?

Well, you may find that you can still eat at those places and still stay in the Zone-LOL! Wendy's chili is pretty good (just don't add extra cheese). Grilled chix salads with a side of apple dippers (without the caramel) at McD's also makes a pretty good meal.

I guess that a lot of people think Wendy's is regular food. But think about it, what is real food? A lot of the zone plan is shedding fake food and getting to the real. But most people don't eat real food. Just look at the market. How much of it is made up of natural food. How much is packaged junk. Look into people's grocery carts when you are in line at the market. Then look at the person with the cart. Does that tell you something? Sure there are exceptions. And you won't become perfect at all this but we can all improve.
