Hi, Does anyone know the significance of the stars and squares of varying colors that are displayed to the left each post below the number of posts the member has made? Curiously, there are none displayed on my posts, and, as far as I've been able to see, I'm the only member who has none. Also missing from my display is the designation(eg. Newbie, Aspiring, Zoner, etc.). Actually, everyone at my house, me included, thinks it's hilarious that I have none! Lol! |

Sue, how long did it take you to switch from "aspiring" to "zoner"? Seems like it took quite awhile, and I think they must have adjusted that parameter, because mine switched after 100 posts. I would also love to know the significance of those stars! Sue, you are "one in a million", and they don't really have a category for you! |

Well, hmmm...I once had the designation "Aspiring" (it continued to display even after I accumulated hundreds of posts), but never "Zoner". It went from "Aspiring" to blank. I guess there are just no words to describe me. Ha! |

Hahaha Sue that's right, there really are no words to describe you! But I'm sure (IT) is working on the issue and will have an answer on it soon. Categories raise depending on the amount of posts you have replied to or created so that's how we end up with that "Suffix" but I myself will ask them for more information. :-) |

Rizzo, I would also like to know about the significance of the stars, and their colors! You know, there isn't anywhere that I can find on this site that explains what this all means. But, it is certainly fun to see it all change as we go along! |

Well from what I am aware: 0-50 posts is a Newbie (Somebody that just joined) 50-100 posts is Aspiring (Somebody who has somewhat experience int he forums) 100-5000 is a Zoner (You two Lovely ladies and your beneficial experience) 5000+ is a Zone Moderator (ehaven't really posted more than 5000 replies on forums, it's just the way the system generates it) From what I know, when the website was first launched, you could grade another user's answers to questions by giving them stars or squares, and the percentage of these would be reflected in your information, but that's another issue my IT friends should be working on... :-) |

Thanks for this info. Am I assuming correctly that the count began anew when the forums switched to this new format in Jan 2007? I ask because I've been a fourm member for a number of years and I'm pretty sure I've submitted 5000 posts, just not all 5000 during 2007 alone (or almost 5000, because it was displaying around 4000 for me prior to the switch to this new format). :)
Happy Thanksgiving Rizzo! |

Thank you Sue! Hope everybody had a great Zone Healthy Thanksgiving! I'm very aware, and I agree with you, many of the high counts of posts where formatted during the website change, going from Zonelabsinc.com to Zoneliving.com was a very exiting process but also came with its side-effects. That was one of them. Up until this day (Almost a year into it) there's still many little things to be worked on that steadily are progresing, so hopefuly pretty soon everything will be back to normal! :-) |

I noticed too, that the LOGIN Name is still not working, and that I have to sign in with my E-Mail address instead of the username. And that Also Remember me does also NOT work, as I have to LOGIN every time - though I have been very busy and not had time to visit, let alone post here, recently. I, too, had several hundred posts on the old forums. |

Rizzo, I would second it that Sue has posted well over 5,000. There have been times I've been a regular and times where I've been a bit lost...but never fail...Sue is always here. She's not just here showing up but offering kind words of encouragment and excellent advise to all.
I'd like to make a motion to nominate Sue for moderator status. |
