I would like to do the Zone diet on a regular basis but I am mostly dependent on the local restaurants like Wendy's. So, I thought it would be a great idea to create a page ( other than the restaurant guide page ) where it will show you what you can eat through out the day at the different restaurants. Right now I have a small chili at Wendy's and a jr. frosty ; the frosty is about 4 to 5 ozs. That is the type of page I would like to create.

Well if you click on the yellow Zone living tab on top of this page and follow to click on the "Dining out" link it will give you the restaurant reviews from places like McDonalds to the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company...
You will find much MUCH helpful information there as far as what are the favorables in these restaurants and what are not... :D
It is an awesome idea to start this page though and be specific about the menus these restaurants have, until then, the Restaurant Reviews is a great resource. :D

One of the things you need to add is where is local.

West Coast we have Jack in the Box.

I do the chicken fajita pita
    9 grams fat
    28 grams carbs
    21 grams protein
Instead of fries I add a side salad.
I don't eat the shredded carrots and I use a balsmic vinagrette.
Or some times I'll do a salad. Chicken club or Southwest always with grilled chicken.

They aren't perfect zone meals but they do in a pinch.

The other local to my work I use often is Subway.

Turn a sandwich into a salad for $1.00. I always order double meat, add avocado and use fat free italian dressing.
