Hi Christina I have only found out about the Zone less than a week ago and so far do not know the workings of it and even how to find other people in the Zone Pal. Yu have a terrific idea for all of us that are just starting out. Until I can find out more and unable to send anything to Zone Pals maybe you can help me and others can see what and who I am.
I am 89 years old, went through WW2 as a prisoner of war in the Phillipine Islands,all through the Korean War, lastly in the Viet Nam fiasco. Married to the same woman since 1938 have 5 daughters, the first born are twins, the eldest never married and have 1 son, We have 12 grand kids and 7 great grand kids all of whom live in the san fransco bay area.5 years ago I had a stroke which left me partially paralized on my right,then i was diagnosed as having an 90% clogged carotid artery, which was operated on cleaned out, then I found out that now I find out that I have Type 2 diabetes and by watching my diet and excercise I do not need any medicine, lastly I find out that I have diabetes neuropathy in my feet and legs. Other than that I feel pretty good. I went into the Merchant Marine before WW2 and sailred some of the biggest ships we had for 45 years as Chief Engineer and Commander in the US Navan Reserve. I hope we can become more involved with the Zone and able to help each other. When I had the stroke I could not speak or walk and my wife tells people how quiet it was around the house, through a lot of persistance and pain she can't shut me up.
