The amount of Wasa containing 9 grams of insulin stimulating carbohydrates would equal one Zone carb block. Use the package label to figure it out. Total carbs minus total fiber equals the insulin stimulating carb to be counted for the Zone.

    Hi Anita and Gill,

Anita, you probably forgot to subtract the fiber to arrive at the insulin stimulating carb we count for the Zone (refer to my post earlier in this thread). The site you referenced shows 5.3 g carb and 1.3 g fiber per slice. Therefore it contains 4g insulin stimulating carb per slice. Three slices would contain 12g insulin stimulating carb, and would be considered 1 1/3 C blocks.

Gill, be careful to look at the label for your specific product, as not all are exactly the same.
