Hi, I am new an want to lose weight and do it in a way that I can live with so I can keep it off and not fall back into old eating habits. I have recently lost 25 pounds with the 6week body make over and need to lose 25 more. But I can not seem to live with 6wbmo plan  I would like to know the best source of information to look into to learn the Zone. I don't understand the blocks. [b:59b24ed353]Is there one of Dr. sears books that will educate me quickly with out haveing to read alot of extra stuff? I'm looking for the nuts and bolts of this plan. Thanks for your help in advance.[/b:59b24ed353] |

Hi! The best book for a beginner is call "A Week in the Zone", it's a little red paper back that can be found at Barnes and Noble (I've even seen it at Target) for about $7. Good luck with the Zone--you'll never regret it! If you need any help, just ask, there are plenty of people around who will know the answer. |

8) This is so true. Every couple of month's I pick up 2 of them, then usually find someone who has remarked on my current "Skinniness". Of course when they ask how, I explain ZONE to them. Then when next I see them, I give them a copy of A Week in the Zone. 8) |

That is a great idea! I like the idea of having a copy for those people who compliment you. |

lynemaree,
Can you explain the 6 week body makeover? I think I saw it on television. It looks like a diet and (mostly) exercise program. I'm looking for a tape program I can do over the next few weeks. It sounds like it worked for you. Would you mind posting???
Thanks! |

6WBMO is a eating plan or lifestlye change like the zone is. I was very succsessful with it an I do hope to keep up with it but I was hoping to add a little more varitty by adding some of the zone fundementals to it. I am not a great cook, when it comes to imagination with meal planning I have none. The 6WBMO is not a tape program it has tapes audio and video and a program book that you put together for your body type. Go to www.provida.com and look at the chat forums its free and all you have to do is register with a screen name and pass word if you want to post. Other wise you can read the forums all you want. Good Luck[/url] |
