Hello, I am just starting out...info on this site is very helpful...still this new way of eating seems really hard....I am used to having vegies once per day not at every meal and a big boat load too boot! I hope I can do this...after reading about it seems like many great health benefits would come of this change...I am not needing to lose weight (5'3 1/2 inches, 115lbs) I have health issues and I know I need to change my eating habits...any other MI zoners? :)

Hi Darlene!
I am a newbie from Michigan too. I live in the Southeast part of the state. Which part of the state are you in? I find that staying in the zone is not difficult as long as you do most of the cooking yourself but I have a problem with restaurants and being able to get decent vegies at a restaurant. The best one I have seen so far is Bob Evans because they have good steamed vegetables.
Let me know your experiences...
Mike

Hi Michies! I'm in Southeast MI too and just checkin the Zone out and exploring how to work it into my daily life! Our family has a crazy schedule. I am a nursing student, work midnights and do some home care for the elderly. My husband works days and my kids are in school. One in college and one in Jr. High. Any pre-prepared suggestions that can be reheated would help us alot. :hehe:
