Hi everyone, I committed to the Zone a few days ago after a few trial and error days. I have read both the Zone and Mastering the Zone. I am mostly a lower carb/whole foods eater so it's not a huge change for me - however - after a couple of days eating to plan and journaling which meals/snacks stave off my hunger and which meals/snacks don't. I think the book refers this as to adjusting the hormonal carborator. I think I am better off with 35% protein, 35% carb and 30% fat. I really love the plan - It took a bit to get use to counting blocks but I have been counting grams, calories, points or portions for years. I jounal my intake in DietPower and if I stick to journaling I am more successful. Still need to lose 20 lbs and need to get back to exercising on a regular basis. My one weakness/plan sabotager is my love for good Tequilla at our "happy hour" on Friday nights! :D Will see what I can do about at least balancing the festivities. The holidays are going to be challenging. I would love a good support board to help get through the challenges. Good luck to all! Sandra
