Cool info. Thanks for posting that Scott. I'm hanging on to this one for future reference. I haven't read the article yet, but for starters I'm thinking about the impact that the publication of this finding could have on the Atkins Diet.[/color:0c70c31533]

My first thoughts ran to an Atkins-like diet, with a high consumption of fatty animal products, which would be high in sautrated fat of course, but I suppose the group on the 5-35-60 diet could have just as well been eating lean or fat free proteins and supplementing with any type(s) of fat to acheive those percentages.[/color:9232a935a3]

    I was curious as to whether an omega-6/omega-3 imbalance gave rise to the worsening AA/EPA status or whether it was the significant ketogenic process.
