Hi all, had our work Christmas party last night. Food was delish....it was buffet, so I was able to keep it in the zone......until we went out after! Fell, 100%, completely, squarely, without any effort...out of the zone. This morning....uuugggh. I was in a booze/carb hangover. It was god-aweful! Heart racing...bp up...oy. More later....gotto go to the airport.....leaving sunny and warm FLA for a week in NJ....complete with snow-showers! Cheers! Paul

Ah, so you're still human just like the rest of us (carb/booze hangover)! Sounds like it was a good time. Have fun in NJ.[/color:d35990a8f4]

Sue...thanks! Glad your surgery went well! Note to self: Never leave Florida for NJ in December! EVER! It was bad. Took my body several days to rebound. I am not the spring chicken I was, that's for sure. It was difficult to stay inthe zone up there. While I stayed at my brother's home, he was weird about letting me cook. He has some kind of phobia about his stove, I guess..LOL. Never saw that side of him, and if you ask me to explain further...I will be at a loss for words. He & his wife are expecting their first child in Feb.....so maybe the crazy gene has kicked in? Stress? Anyway...glad to back in the sunny warm air. Cheers! Paul

Thanks Paul. :D Yes, my body's rebounding right now, too. I figured as long as I was out of the Zone from dealing with the after effects of anesthesia, surgery, and medication, I might as well indulge in a little ice cream, too. :D Well, kind of a lot of ice cream. Let's just say Ben and Jerry's also benefitted from my surgey, lol!  Your brother's "other side", the stove, expecting parents, NJ winter weather...bet you're glad to be back home in FL. Too bad you didn't come up here this weekend. We got a foot of snow yesterday. :D [/color:860409af2e]

Had to shovel snow 2x in the five days I was up. I saw that other storm coming, and I got the hell out of there! My family is along the central Nj coast. It was brutally cold and windy right on the shore. They say hell is hot....I tend to disagree. It is freezing cold!...LOL I bet Ben and Jerry loved you! I know that we love them! I think I have gotten my sister sold on the zone for her kids. My niece is almost 7 and is close to 5 feet tall!!!! Her 2 1/2 year old son is 50 lbs!!! and he is not fat! The main thing is I got her interested in the Organic food idea. She needs to cut hormones out of those kids' diets!! My brother's 10 year old girl has already had her period! I think THAT scared my sister! Can you imagine a 10 year old having to worry about that while out playing with friends? Anyway....we'll see...if she just goes organic, I'll be happy.... Going out to sit by the pool and watch the evening news!!.... Cheers! Paul

Hi, Good choice youre sister is making to go OG. Hope she eventually decides to include the Zone, too. I've read a lot about the effects of drugs and hormones in meats. None of it good. Happy holidays![/color:d9a22cc960]
