Good Morning, When I log into the zone forums, I don't see any posts since my last visit. I know that someone must have posted because I didn't come here in a while. Now that I am logged in, after a few minutes I indeed see some new posts appear while I am browsing the forums (red new posts show up). However, when I log out and log back in again the next day, no new posts show up as red and clicking on "view posts since last visit" doesn't show any posts. I just see, "no topics or posts met your search criteria." Thank you for your time and help

Hi Oceangirl, I am on a an iMac, and I've noticed if I used Internet Explorer to view the Forums, all my messages are marked as read, but if I use Mozilla (Netscape) or Safari (Mac browser), this doesn't happen. Hope this helps, altagal

I've noticed the same thing. At home, on Mozilla, the orange thingees pop up and it's clear and easy to read. At school, on Internet Explorer, I have to read the last posted time (in teeny, tiny letters) to figure out if I've read it or not. It doesn't matter if I am logged in or not. It's kind of annoying, because we are hard wired at school, so it is much faster for me there. thanks for looking into this! Ronica

[quote:dd050872e1="OceanGirl"]Tech support where are you?[/quote:dd050872e1] Hello, This forum is a free service, so therefore, I do not have in-house support. I am researching their site (phpBB) to see if I can find an answer for you. If I can come up with an answer, or solution, then I will post it under this topic. Sincerely, info@zonelabsinc.com

White Light, I can't find the unread button you speak of. Can you explain exactly where it is?

Hello All, Ive just installed a mod on the forum that displays the last 10 active topics at the bottom of the main page. Hopefully this will be helpful. I've never seen a "select unread" feature. I am also not sure why some people see all the unread posts highlighted when they return and some people do not. I always have seen the unread topics highligtedon any forum with this software I visit. You have to be logged in to use this feature and once the topic has been viewed they are unselected. -Dave
