New to the Zone - today is my first day!

Hi everyone! I am new to the Zone and am looking for encouragement and a means to receive and give motivation to all others looking to lose weight and get healthy. I just turned 46 this year and boy, has my body done a turn around! All of a sudden I have a belly! I walk regularly and just began learning Pilates. I wanted to try the Zone because it seemed to make sense to me and wasn't as stringent at a low carb, no carb diet. I decided that maybe I needed to rethink my diet in regards to my recent weight gain over the past year or so. I crave sweets and carbs so today has been a bit rough.Can anyone give me advice on staying motivated and honestly, any advice would help. Thank you and bless you all!

Congrats! You've made an excellent choice with the Zone! This might help you stay motivated. I began eating in the Zone 15 years ago I lost 100 pounds over the first two years and I 've kept it off even since. You can see my before and after photos in my photobucket album (link in my signature below). In a week or so you'll see a huge difference in the cravings (you won't have them anymore!). Hang in there as you start because it takes about a week of consistently eating Zone balanced 24/7 to and seeing results. Good luck!

you can do it!!! today is my second day... I have always been a big water drinker, but im finding it wasn't enough. I have found, so far that drinking water all day long has helped with my cravings...You are going to experience some withdrawls, hang in there.
