Wondering if there are some winnipeggers out there that can give me some ideas of the types or brands of foods they eat and where they found them.? :D

I am a new zoner. I live in North Kildonan - I was recently diagnosed with Diabetes 2 and this is the reason I am here, trying to reverse it. So far I am stable after just a couple weeks. Both my wife and I are on it. We are retired, so it is easy to bounce ideas as we go along with each meal or snack.
