I don't know how to cook, don't have much of a budget, or a whole lot of time to cook. I tend to find meals that complete my blocks and repeat them throughout the week or even longer. Some people say that this is bad for me, but I really don't see or can't find anything wrong with it. Nutrition is nutrition, I'm just making it a bit simpler for myself.

The only problem is getting a variety of food for the sake of vitamins and nutrition. Different veggies and fruits contain different polyphenols. Different protein sources contain different sources of fat (i.e. seafood contains omega-3 whereas chicken not so much).

But, if you are supplementing with vitamins and fish oil, then this should not be an issue.

Also, I have spoken out regarding using polyphenol supplements on other previous posts, and in your case it might be beneficial as an added insurance policy to take a supplement.

Just don't make it something that is out of reach. The Zone fits every lifestyle. Some people choose to be gourmet cooks, while others choose to do as little in the kitchen as possible. It is really up to you.

I like to cook but I often don't have a lot of time. I end up making a lot of salad-type meals (not just lettuce), and I do a lot of omelets, and I do a lot of veggie sautees. And, I whip up a really tasty smoothie every morning!
