I have a lot of health issues that have caused me to move towards a vegetarian/raw diet. But I've also got so many food sensitivies I'm struggling getting balanced Zone meals. The biggest is wheat (so no breads, pasta etc) but I also have to avoid oats, all yeasts (brewers and bakers) so vinegars are out (I use lemon on salads) - also no peanuts, most shellfish, sugar (I use stevia) and amaranth. I've increased grains which is not good according to the Zone, and yes, my weight went back up. I eat a lot of veggie soups with soy but with summer coming, hot food is not my choice. I'm so confused. Is there a Zone book that can help? :confused: |
