Quite honestly, I never gave any thought to feeding my dogs from the Zone. I feed them ProPlan for coats and sensitive skin, but it doesn't help with the dry skin. I have a small (less than 20 pounds) minature sheltie/whippet mix. He has a beautifully design coat, but it lacks lustre. I'm thinking of moving his diet to a more Zone friendly one and adding some cod liver oil or peanut butter. I have given my dog sardines mixed with some of her dry nuts one evening a week, her coat is amazing, everyone comments on this. This advice was passed onto me from serious dog lover, who had rescued many animals and got them back to great health (inside and outside) before finidng homes for them. good luck
