Hi, I've read that for little kids they should get that hole egg because of their needs for extra fat, but after reading all of the books for The Zone (and of course trying to get the hole family to eat in the zone) I was wondering if it was safe due to the AA. My little one is 2 yrs and she loves eggs more than any other protein source.

I think that if you feed eggs to your child, limit the egg yolk to a few times per week, and give your little one just the whites the rest of the time.

Thanks for your answer!!! I will do that, also I introduce her to tofu (hidden w/ strawberries, almonds and some milk) and she is loving it too.

this is a little late but if you are worrying about boosting the fat you are cutting, then avacado is very toddler friendly... as it is soft and easy to mash even if she's not the best chewer, and it is sweet with a smooth texture so many little ones find it very appealing...

Either way, this is the perfect time to work on establishing a good diet with your children.

I was not following the Zone when I raised my first 2 kids. However, I definitely was into the Zone by the time my 3rd child came along.

Now, she eats pretty much the same things that I eat, without much difficulty at all!
