Just gearing up for the zone for me and my son, whose 11. I'm clear on computing the protein prescription and appropriate blocks...fish oil. Do you just stay with the recommended 8/day for children or is this adjusted based on lean body mass and other factors.

Dr. Sears suggests that children over 6 years of age supplement with 4 caps per day. We're talking 4 capsules of Dr. Sears' EicoRx, which is highly purified and concentrated. At 4 capsules one receives about 2,500mg. of long chain omega 3 fats (EPA + DHA).
You may review additional information and comments by Dr. Sears regarding children and infants at www.drsears.com. Using the search feature and entering key words such as "fish oil supplementation for kids" or just "children"
