Also in this month's issue of the Life Extension magazine is a short "In The News" article. "Study Links Greater Consumption (of Olive Oil) with Decreased Risk of Dying - Over a 13 Year Period". . Basically researchers analyzed data from 40,622 men and women over a 13 year period. The interview responses concerning Food and Drink consumed were analyzed for Olive Oil and calorie intake. . Participants whose Olive Oil intake was in the top one-fourth had a 26% lower risk of dying of any cause and a 44% lower risk of dying from heart disease compared to those who did not consume olive oil.
