I buy a lot of tomatoes right now because sometimes I get them for 99 per pound which is a great deal.

And I Googled and I can't really determine how polluted tomatoes are--conventional ones that is.

It's not in the top dozen of the most polluted foods though.

I eat a lot of tomatoes sometimes ...

ALSO. I try to remind myself over and over again--even if they're polluted, they are still a lot better for me than, say, fast food (cheeseburger & fries) ... so it's all relative. Just because I don't do everything perfectly doesn't mean that what I'm doing doesn't make a BIG difference!!!

    Agree completely!

I don't do everything "right", either. But, I feel that the steps that I am taking are making a huge difference, and it keeps me away from the french fries.

Hi to the both of you!! :-)

Thanks for your reassuring responses ... sometimes I can be hard on myself, and that actually backfires, because I start eating the wrong stuff as a result of giving up, etc ...

So I'm gonna go ahead and eat tomatoes, knowing that it's a million times better than fries ... LOL ...

dont know about tomatoes. But eating a lot of carrot will make your skin darker (orangey) - completely natural process.
