I started using certain supplements, such as quercetin, in overdoses sort of. Because I have allergies. Right now I sleep only one hour a night because I can't breath through my nose (post nasal drip and stuffed nose). I have asthma too. And I used, for example, 10 or 12 capsules of quercetin in the past when I couldn't breath, to help me sleep. Now I'm wondering if overdoses of these things could trigger something ... e.g., be causing my current stuffed nose. I am going off my supplements as a result. (Example--oil of oregano.) My theory is that these things may be good in reasonable doses, but if I use a whole lot of them, then it triggers an allergic reaction. I am sensitive to many things. For example, sheets, pillows, blankets, etc, are potential triggers for me. Thanks, Sarah |
