HI guys sorry this will be short - I guess i'm aiming this at John or Tech Support as you guys have done some fantastic research in the past. What are your thoughts on Bee Pollen as a supplement? I've done a bit of reading on it though not greatly in depth, and it seems like a bit of a super supplement and i'm interested in others' perspectives on it or the impact it may have on a ZONE diet before I give it a go.. Thanks in advance Sarah |

I don't have any knowledge on that, either. Sorry! |

Sarah ' Herbalists and websites that sell bee pollen claim it’s a cure for many health problems, from alcoholism to stomach problems. However, research is lacking to support any health benefit. It appears safe to use in the short term but may cause problems for those who have pollen allergies causing allergic reactions (hives, swelling, etc.) and even anaphylaxis. Always consult with your physician. Bottom line; follow an anti-inflammatory diet, the Zone, supplement with a high quality ultra-refined omega 3 (OmegaRx), polyphenols and try the bee pollen to see if offers any benefit.
