OLIVE TAPENADE PIZZA
I put this recipe together when we wanted a fast lunch and were in the mood for pizza. I opened the fridge, looked for some likely pizza toppings among the leftovers and had a delicious pizza about 10 minutes later. It’s great for a quick meal or snack.
Ingredients (given in amount per person):
1/2 Zone white pizza crust
1 to 1 ½ teaspoons Trader Joe's Original Olive Tapenade
A handful of sliced mushrooms, cooked (I buy the fresh baby bellas already slices, cook them and store them in the fridge for easy use)
1/2 to 1 tablespoon of sun dried tomato strips
Freshly ground pepper
Sea salt to taste
1/2 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
1. Preheat oven to 450.
2. Place the pizza crust on a baking sheet and spread with the tapenade.
3. Arrange the mushrooms and tomatoes on the crust and, and sprinkle the rest of the ingredients on top.
4. Place on the middle rack of the oven and bake for about 7 minutes.
