    Hi - I have just decided to start the Zone Diet. My only question is do you count the grams of carbs in your protein blocks or are the carb blocks totally separate? For example .. the cottage cheese I have has 3g of carbs in it. Should I include that into my carb blocks?
    I'm a little confused :/

    Yes, Carbs are usually counted (minus the fiber).
    However, there is a range of Protein to Carbs, so for small amounts of Carbs like 3 grams,
    I wouldn't sweat too much about counting 'pennies'.
