My favorite meal of the day is breakfast, but my favorite breakfast isn't zone friendly (yet, when I eat it, I feel this sense of wellness and it satiates my hunger the longest, but I don't think I lose weight on it), so I need to leave my oatmeal with Canadian bacon meal behind.
I tried egg whites, but I just hate them. The yolk was always my favorite part.
I tried Greek yogurt with strawberries and Canadian bacon, but I'm so hungry 1-2 hours later.
I'd like to stick with traditional Zone meals, and I do like breakfast for breakfast. I know some people like and swear by the Zone 123 products, but they don't look like anything I'd want to eat. I've just never been a big bread eater.

Go back to your favorite breakfast!
Just substitute steel cut oats for the oats that you are using.
Other ideas for breakfast... I like making a smoothie in the morning. I have tried various smoothie recipes, but there aren't too many that work for me, so I had to work on tinkering with my recipe, finally got a blend that works pretty well. I blend in 1 cup frozen strawberries, 1/2 cup plain fat free yogurt, 1/4 cup cottage cheese, 2 tsp olive oil, 1 block's worth of plain or vanilla protein powder, and I also add my fish oil to this smoothie. If I am out of protein powder, then I just add more cottage cheese.
Also , have you tried hummus deviled eggs? I personally don't care for all of the work that goes into these (I don't like peeling eggs), but they are surprisingly filling. Boil up 6 eggs, then peel and cut in half lengthwise. Scoop out the yolk and replace with your favorite flavored hummus (or be creative and make your own).
