Usign very active is appropriate. You're probably going to be better off adding a little monounsaturated fat to meals, a technique used by athletes to meet increased energy needs. Decide that based on you energy levels. You could begin by doubling the number of monounsaturated fat blocks you add to your meals. Other than that, if you have hunger apply the apprioriate carbohydrate block adjustment according to Zone rules. Good luck to you and you wife.
