    Hello,I'm valeria
I'm new in the zone, but I thinkk is a very good for higt performance.
Maybe someone can help me, because I'm a little bit confuse.
I need to loose 4/5 maximum kg, my eight is 164mt and I have18%of body fat.
I'm a professional athlete and i need to arrive to have less % of body fat, like 14 i think.
I'm not sure if there is a special plan for sustain athletic performance, or supplement, and how many I need to take per day.
Sometimes after performance I'm soo ungry and i can't stop to eat..so maybe the zone diet can help me to soppress this kind of attack.
I follow a different diet before but didn' works well, because i can't stay without charboydrate!
thank you soo much to all!

Hi Valeria. Just to clarify, you are 164 cm, 18% bodyfat, and how much do you have to lose? I am confused by the 4/5 kg. Also, you area professional; athlete. What sport do you compete in, and what is your exercise regimen for the week?

Anyway, if I were you I would use the zone block counter to figure out your info., and as a professional athlete I would substitute carb. blocks for fat blocks, except for pre and post workout. Supplement wise, not sure what you are looking for but in my opinion the ones that truly work are vitamin c, fish oil, glutamine, protein powder and amino acids; also a good multi vitamin.

Let us know more specific and we can give you some better answers.

    Hi
thank you soo much for your quikly answer!
I'm a professional dancer, I know that my weight is ok for my eight but, for best performance and work well I need to loose maybe 4 kg.Now I'm 54/5...I need to be more near 50 as soon as possible.
But what I need to loose is the body fat, so probably I need to loose less kg. but only of fat.
I try to understeand how many blocks my body needs, but I think is not precise, because I don't works in a gym so it is different.
I dance everyday contemporary dance for 3 or 4 and a half hours,6 days a week, and sometimes i add run in the swimming pool!
I take fish oil, vitamin c, vitamin e.
But Maybe i need more sustain for upgrade my performance.
Now i check on line at the web site, for the answer.
I know the zzone diet can help me, but I wuould lke to figurate well how for loose my weight with a
    correct method.

    Thank you soo much !!

You're welcome vale. To get the most appropriate block amount put your statistics into the Zone Block & Body Fat Calculator (link at right) and choose the Elite Athlete activity level. This is assuming that your many hours of modern dance daily requires both strength and aerobic ability. If it is mostly aerobic only, you may be able to get away with the Very Active level. Use the block amount that results, and if you feel you need more energy, add more monounsaturaed fat to you meals, as Dr. Sears explained in the video. A little more fat in you diet will not interfere with the loss of stored body fat.
