I am new to the Zone and am wondering how I should eat on the days I work out for 2 hours back to back. One hour aerobic and 1 hour weights. I eat a snack before I leave but find my energy slowly dissapears before the end of my workout. Not sure what this means and what to do to adjust. |

Have a snack prior to the workout, a snack in the middle, and a third snack after. Even better, split up the workouts and do them at different times of day. Compensate for those additional snacks by making meals smaller, so you don't eat more that you require for the entire day. |

Hi Bobbi. Basically you need to split aerobic and Weights. Don't do them together. They have different requirements and depending on which you do first your body will be doing different things. While it's kinda ok to do weights first and cardio afterwards, doing cardio first and then weights is not a good idea. For energy you need to increase your fat intake. Double it for now, maybe triple it if you still find yourself tired. This means if you have 4 blocks for a meal you want 8 blocks of fat, 12 if you find it still isn't enough, but to start off by doubling you should see a difference. Also, what are your goals?
