I was just reading over 'The Anti-Inflammation Zone' and was wondering if anyone uses the Zone point system to figure their food? I personally use the 1-2-3 method most of the time, but the point system has me curious...

No, been a classic zoner measuring since I started and the only method at the time.

I never got into the.point system much, but did use the list to see where some of my meals fell according to points. Most of them were at or below the points allowed for that meal. I think points help to mix and match foods to keep the glycemic load low.

Thanks everyone. It seemed to me it is much like the block method, but it allowed you to pick the lowest glycemic food over the the higher - in other words more control. But I haven't finished reading the book. I like how I do my meals, but I would like to understand the system better.
