Brandi, I have a smoothie recipe which I love, hope this at least gets you started. I use cottage cheese in it, and after it blends in, trust me you will NEVER know it is in there! But, if you want to do it without the cottage cheese, you can easily adjust it.

    Strawberry Smoothie

    2 cups frozen strawberries
    1/2 cup plain yogurt
    1/4 cup cottage cheese
7g plain or vanilla protein powder
    2 tsp olive oil
(if you don't want to use the cottage cheese, just omit and then add 14g protein powder)

Toss ingredients into blender, blend and enjoy!

    Hi Brandi,

There are a lot of receipes on this website you can try check the tabs at the top here that says classic zone receipes. I would suggest you try the two week program since it allows you try all the store items and you can order the ones you really like. Ordering the foods is the most convenient if the expense is not an issue. I order the orzo and build almost all my meals around it. This diet is a very low calorie diet so you really will not be eating huge amounts of food. You should think of it in terms of protein, carbs and fat and include some of your foods accordingly with your blocks. You really have to work at this diet because unless you purchase the foods there are always exceptions. You eat oatmeal but steel cut oatmeal is the best. You eat eggs but take the yolk out and put hummus in it. I found after doing it for sometime I was very bored with the diet but you just have to find new receipes to keep it varied. You need to remember this diet is as much for your health as weight management and if you try to do it you will also feel good.

    Brandi,

I have another salad idea, hopefully you will like this one...

    2.5  oz cooked chicken breast

    1 apple, chopped

    ½ cup grapes, halved

    ½ cup plain nonfat yogurt

    Chopped walnuts

Mix chicken, apple and grapes together in a bowl.  Top with yogurt.  Sprinkle with seasoning of your choice—I like a mixture of cinnamon, curry powder, and turmeric.  Mix seasoned yogurt into the chicken and fruit.  Top with walnuts.
