Wow I am so excited about this. I ordered thru medwell an assortment of the medwell or superzone foods and they look and taste fantastic so far, I kind of expected the bagels to not taste good but to me they taste wonderful, just like bread ...swoons... I have tried to do the zone many times in my life without much ability to follow through, mainly because I am a supertaster and it is very hard for me to incorporate any vegetables into my diet, I have to cook them with meat aka chili or beef stew, not to mention I also dislike most fish, but I do supplement with good fish oil. I know the zone is the right way to eat but staying in the zone for me a confessed carb lover and supertaster who dislikes so many vegetables, I could litterally eat no meat or vegs only carbs and I'm good, but my health is really suffering as well as my weight. So I have been as best as I can be in the zone the last 5 days its been so hard eating the way I do, but today I had my first superzone bagel and the first words out of my mouth were, Dr Sears is a genious! This food I can eat, now I can finally know what truely being in the zone feels like and I can not wait! Finally I think I can really do this and I could almost cry looking at all these bread products that I can eat that will actually improve on my health. I'm really suprised that there is not more talk of these products or media to me this is a miracle, yes its costly but I think the cost is really low if you consider the reduction you may have in medical bills not to mention how good you will feel living in the zone. I am simply elated at all the foods I can now eat and be in the zone! I understand all the controversy about the superzone bread but for some this is simply a dream come true, sure I wish I could eat vegetables in the raw and the like but for me that will never happen fully and I doubt I'm alone here, but now I can follow the program . |

Tanya, this is why the Superzone exists. I am happy for you. It is there for you and others like you, who would otherwise not do the Zone at all, and whose health is at risk. |

YEAH!
I know, how you're feeling. Receiving your first SuperZone order is like Christmas morning when you were a kid (was for me at least, lol!). Enjoy the food and how it feels to finally be in the Zone. My first reaction after a couple of SuperZone meals was that Barry Sears is absolutely brilliant! I couldn't believe that I was feeling even better with SuperZone foods than with my usual Zone meals. I also supplement with Sea Health Plus and Omega Rx. I'm eating a cinnamon bun warmed in the microwave right now. Love 'em! Since the pasta and pizza packets contain twice the amount of food as the other selections, I'll usually split them in half, eating only half and then eating a snack during the evening. BTW, I've been in the Zone for about 15 years, maintaining my initial 100 pound weight loss. When I began eating SuperZone foods, to my surprise I began dropping even more body fat. It's fantastic! I don't even think it's expensive when you consider its about $2 a meal. Let us know how it goes! Have fun eating your SuperZone food tomorrow! |

Thanks everyone for your support Today will be my first full day on superzone foods, I started last night. I will say I was in tremendous pain after a workout with a trainer my legs were in terrible pain, I'm not sure if its a result of the superzone foods but a couple hours after eating I felt some of the pain subside and was feeling really good almost elated. Maybe its in my head it can't work that fast can it? I will say the brownies are absolutely delicious, I've found I prefer the brownies to the cookies although the cookies are good, I think I will go for brownies next time for a sweet snack. And the bagel chips are really good with hummus. Thanks for the tip on the pasta and pizza Sue I haven't got to those yet but will try one of them for dinner tonight. |

Sounds excellent Tanya! Please keep us updated! We're having fusilli with roasted baby bella mushrooms and a sprinkle of parmesan for dinner tonight. |

Tanya, our dinner tonight was delicious. It was the fusilli and roasted mushroom recipe in the SUPERZONE tab above. It makes a huge plateful of pasta and veggies. It's still unbelievable to me that I can eat like this and stay in the Zone and feeling great! |

Oh That sounds really good Sue, I will definately try it out. I can't wait to try the fusilli and orzo. I had an unbelievable dinner also, I made Feta Cheese and Sliced Tomato and Basil Pizza, and it was so filling I could not finish it all, saving it for later as you said its a really big pizza. As I'm eating this I too cannot believe what I'm eating is good for me it just tastes so good,. I will say I have felt no desire at all to go off the diet, I'm not even hungry when it is time to eat, meaning my hunger is in control so it must be working! I'm finding I can really feel the difference from these foods they are far more filling than their non zone counterparts. I'm so excited about this |

Tanya, I tired the soup and crouton suggestion for the first time today, It was easy, delicious and very filling. I used 1/2 a can of Progresso Light Zesty Southwestern-Style Vegetable soup and 1 package of SuperZone plain croutons. It made a very nice snack for a cold winter afternoon. For dinner tonight I'm having the Mediterranean dip recipe I posted today in my SuperZone recipe thread here. This way of eating is so much fun, and so very easy, isn't it? |
