I just saw that TLC has two shows on this Sunday (8/31/08) about Manuel Uribe. The first one airs at 8PM, the second one immediately follows at 9 PM.

It's not quite clear from the ads and the program guide, but it looks like the first show is the one that was on a year or two ago, and the second may be a new one. I've programmed my DVR to record both shows, so I'm all set!

I'm rooting for him. Some of us have a few hundred to lose.

I was cleaning my house yesterday and just happened to have the TV on that channel. I ended up watching that instead of finishing cleaning. That show is what has prompted me to check the Zone out. I cant wait to go shopping on payday and get the foods that should be in my fridge and get rid of the ones that are in it. I have spent the night reading diff posts on here. They have been totally inspiring. So thank you for that. Any tips on a successful start?

Tips, I have lots, lol! Here are some to get you started. Keep your focus on acheiving hormonal control and the weight loss will happen. Take a Zone Labs fish oil. Read all you can abou the Zone. Don't get too caught up in tedious counting of grams. That's not necessary be successful with the Zone.

Thank you Sue. I was worried about the blocks. Any 'diet' that involves counting doesnt work for me... its too tedious. However through reading alot of your posts I have this feeling that you would say the plate method works. :P I have to say thank you to you because so many of your posts for other Zoners have given me alot of insight and faith not only in myself but in the Zone. I recently saw an article on CNN with regards to Manuel having lost over 550 pounds so far!! That and he's getting married! Way to go Manuel! I'm rooting for you!

I couldn't find that article, I did a search, unfortunately hundreds of news bits on Alvara Uribe the president of Columbia are what come up!!!
