Gaining weight may be more than consuming greater amounts of food,

Consulting with a healthcare professional is suggested to monitor your weight, health and progress.

The Zone diet is appropriate for everyone as it’s protein adequate and recommends 8-12 servings of colorful non-starch vegetables per day. Some adjustments may be necessary, therefore, consulting with a qualified professional is important.

Thannks for your reply back. Yes I went to a professional about gaining weight. I just wasn't sure about The Zone. Oh, and I also meant that I'm 4'9 not 5'9.

Karen, thanks for the correction on your height!!!

So, you are still quite light, but not quite as bad as I was picturing! LOL
My daughter is your age, just a bit taller by about 4-5 inches.

In order to gain weight in the Zone, you will actually need to consume more fat. Mono-unsaturated fat, like nuts, avocado, olive oil, etc. Healthy fat. Other than that, eating your protein and carbs in balance is basically what we are doing here...

Oh yeah, that is what I was thinking too with the fats. But im still not sure how much protein blocks im supposed to eat though.
I still feel quite tired after I eat. The part where I am supposed to find my lean body mass confuses me...
