Dear Zonediet.com
Please develop an iPhone/iPad/Droid/RIMM app that helps us count our blocks & calculate our BMI & BF from our gadgets. We can sign in and you can receiving income from iAds.
Tomorrow I get my iPhone 4 & it would be nice if I could have an app which counts my zone meals, tracks as a diary, and helps me recalibrate my weight & blocks and meals in real time from my phone.
Thanks

I just want an app that tells me how many blocks each food item is.

How about just a miniature book with all the counts that I can carry in my pocket?

I believe there is a small book with zone blocks listed for many foods plus a listing for eating out. Maybe won't fit in your pocket, but maybe in your purse! I printed the zone block index on a excel spreadsheet and so I usually just print it out if I need it. |

I haven't seen a book like that. It might be good to have, but I don't carry a purse, so I'd have to leave it at home. Still, it would be nice to have one in the kitchen. |

You may find "The Top 100 Zone Foods" helpful. Along with the foods it has recipes. |

Yes, that's about a 400 page book, which would work in the kitchen, but I guess something pocket sized would be more desirable.

OPTION: How many pages are the actual Top 100 ZONE Foods? Probably a short list? You could copy/scan and then print out just the few pages, and have the list. |

Rachel, you can easily copy/paste the food list into a word document or excel spreadsheet. Then, format it so that you can create your own booklet. I would play with it and email you a copy if I have time, but I can't promise anything (have been very busy lately). I already have a spreadsheet that I made up a few years ago, I arranged all of the foods alphabetically. |

Could you send me your Top 100 Foods spreadsheet as well? I cannot find anything like that on this site. I thought part of the benefit of the Zone Diet was that you could use food you are already eating/buying and tweak them to fit the program. That's what I find when I read the books. However, what I find on the website is that you must order the expensive Zone Foods?? I have not even located a "2-week zone meal plan" for people who cannot order two weeks of the prepacked zone meals? That would be a very helpful resource for newbies! |

I can send you my block list, just send me any email to cranberrycat@hotmail.com. I am frustrated with the way the website is laid out, it is almost impossible to find "classic zone" information. I know it is buried in here somewhere, but IDK where and don't have time to search. Maybe the techies and/or web monkeys can post a link for you. |

Hi Ashley, Roll you cursor over "Tools" at the top of this page and you'll find Zone Classic in the drop down menu. The Zone Classic page describes how to follow the Zone diet without Zone foods. Here's a link to that page http://www.zonediet.com/tools/zone-classic Here's the food block guide http://drsears.com/ArticlePreview/t...fault.aspx _____________________________________ sue Consultnt of Zone Labs Certified Zone Affiliate |

Case in point! IMO, one should not have to struggle to find this stuff! Here's some additional information: under the PLANS tab, you can find Classic Zone recipes. There used to be a 2-week planner for Zone Classic, but I don't see it there any longer. |
