30 Jun 2009 03:33 PM Sorry if I deprive a village of its idiot ... How do you complete the wrist measurement. The space between your dominant hand to your wrist where it bends ? I don't get it. Can someone please explain this measurement as if I were 5 years old ! Many thanks. Matthew

30 Jun 2009 04:52 PM Matthew, Dominant hand; if you're right handed (if you write with your right hand), it's your right hand; if you're left handed, it's your left hand. Space where it bends; look at your wrist as you bend your hand down and you'll see that it bends between that bone on the outside top edge of the wrist and the bone that you can feel almost right next to it at the base of your hand. Place the measuring tape around your wrist so that it’s positioned right between those two bones, and voila! I'm happy to help! :-) Sue KnorrLost 100 lbs 18 yrs ago, off BP meds, thanks to the Zone diet and Zone fish oil.Consultant of Zone Labs

13 Nov 2009 12:50 PM Does anyone know what mathematical formula the calculator uses to determine the % body fat from the waist and wrist measurement? I would imagine that there are a few derived variables with some log transformations within the formula but I am unable to find anything about it.

13 Nov 2009 02:22 PM The formula and factors used are shown in THE ANTI-INFLAMMATION ZONE and also in most of the Zone books written prior to that book. Sue KnorrLost 100 lbs 18 yrs ago, off BP meds, thanks to the Zone diet and Zone fish oil.Consultant of Zone Labs
