Sorry if I deprive a village of its idiot ... How do you complete the wrist measurement. The space between your dominant hand to your wrist where it bends ? I don't get it. Can someone please explain this measurement as if I were 5 years old ! Many thanks. Matthew

    Matthew,

Dominant hand; if you're right handed (if you write with your right hand), it's your right hand; if you're left handed, it's your left hand.

Space where it bends; look at your wrist as you bend your hand down and you'll see that it bends between that bone on the outside top edge of the wrist and the bone that you can feel almost right next to it at the base of your hand. Place the measuring tape around your wrist so that it’s positioned right between those two bones, and voila!

    I'm happy to help! :-)

Does anyone know what mathematical formula the calculator uses to determine the % body fat from the waist and wrist measurement? I would imagine that there are a few derived variables with some log transformations within the formula but I am unable to find anything about it.

The formula and factors used are shown in THE ANTI-INFLAMMATION ZONE and also in most of the Zone books written prior to that book.
