I was flipping through last weeks US Weekly with "Jennifer Aniston's easy diet plan!" on the cover at the grocery store waiting in a massive line. While the mag says she was "formerly a Zone follower" her "easy diet" sounds suspiciously Zone-like "full of lean protein, veggies and fruits", "splitting desserts with the table", and her cheats consisted of "a glass of wine and a few chips and salsa". It's hilarious to me that the Zone was at one time considered a fad diet that celebrities followed, but because it has gone out of fashion with Hollywood, she is now considered a former Zone follower with an easy diet. Haha!

I wish those celebrities following the Zone (Jennifer Aniston, Jon Favreau, probably just to name a few), would actively promote the healthy diet, instead of celebrities touting the weight loss qualities of the lemon-juice-cayenne-maple-syrup diet.

Well, I think the issue is that the Zone is looked at as a complicated hard-to-follow meal plan (despite the fact that we all know differently). Just read the reviews that the Zone gets online! So, Jennifer IS promoting a healthy diet. She is just not calling it the Zone.
