There was a discussion that Sue recently started, basically a topic discussing the new Zone pasta. Beverly joined the discussion, she had some comments on Dreamfield's Pasta, and I was going to review the thread that Sue had started and add to the discussion. However, now I can't seem to find that thread! What happened to it? I hope it wasn't deleted!!! If it was deleted, it certainly would be nice if there could be some kind of message stating that the posts were deleted. I spent a long time looking through each thread to try to find it! |

There is also another thread that is missing. I can't remember the name of the thread, but Sue started the thread, and she started a discussion on flax seed. I responded to a message in that thread, but Sue says that she deleted her first post. Now, my message is gone from there, too. I don't recall anything offensive being in these threads, why are they disappearing? |

This topic has not been addressed for an entire week. Is there anyone from the Zone who is moderating and can figure out what happened to these threads? It is a bit disturbing to me that 2 entire threads are missing, after several posts had been added to them. If there was inappropriate postings or comments, then perhaps the individual posts could have been deleted. But, to lose 2 entire threads... |

Hello! I thought I would bring this up again. I wrote about 2 missing threads several months ago. And, now I am finding that yet ANOTHER thread is missing! Sue had started a thread basically asking if other forum members could share whether or not they have had the SIP done. I had posted on that thread, and I felt that a discussion occurring on another thread could be continued on the thread that Sue had started. However, the entire thread is missing! It is discouraging to me when those of us who have an interest in a thread start to post some information, and then the thread is gone. Basically, it means lots of time and energy has been wasted. Again, I don't remember anything related to porn or spam being on this thread. |

Everyone who submits a post to these forums has the option to delete that post. When the deleted post is the first post in a thread, the rest of that thread is deleted also. I chose to delete the posts with which I began the threads being referred to. |

Sue, So, if there are replies, then why does the entire thread disappear? I am not arguing that one does not have the right to delete a post. BUT..., I don't think that an entire thread has to be deleted, just the posts with the offensive content. AND, I would love to know just what content was offensive in those posts? I certainly did not see anything offensive in the most recent thread that you had started, unless someone came along and posted after I had seen it. So, if I may ask... why did you decide to delete your post on the most recent thread? Certainly YOUR post was not offensive. A moderator could delete the offensive posts, but your question was a good one, and worthy of discussion. |

Thanks (I think), but you're giving me too much credit. I'm not the webmaster here, in case you may have thought that. Everyone who posts here has the ability to delete their posts. Happy Zoning! |

Obviously you DO have the ability to delete your posts. But, my question (for the webmaster, if he or she would care to reply) is regarding HOW an entire thread can just disappear. |

Didn't mean to dig up old issues, but I thought that since Linda and Sue were concerned that posts were being manipulated or deleted, I wanted to bring this thread up to the top so that if anyone is moderating, that one can see that this has been a concern of mine for quite some time. |
