    Hi,
I red "The Zone" and I was thrilled with every chapter ended.
I know according to the calculations that I should eat 96 grams of Protein per day, divided by 11 for every block that's 8.8 grams per block.
According to the 4:3 ratio, that means 11 grams of Carbon per block.
One thing I didn't find an answer to: how much fat I should eat per block/day ?

    Thanks a lot !

First of all 96 grams of Protein is divided by 7 grams per block of Protein which = 14 blocks per day.
That also equates to (at least to start with until you fine tine) 14 blocks of Good (low Glycemic) Carbs.
For Fat, again at least to start until you fine tune, that equates to 14 blocks of fat also.
    .
However, a true block of Fat is 3 grams, BUT Low fat Protein has about 1.5 grams of fat per block.
So, though you add 14 blocks of fat, you add only an additional 1.5 grams of good Fat per block.
Unless your Protein is Fat-free, then, for those Proteins, you add 3 grams of good Fat per block of Protein.
    .
    Clear? (as mud!) lol

P.S. 9 grams of Carbs (Carbohydrates) per block.
Think of a block as a "real" serving.
    7 grams of Protein
    9 grams of Carbs
3 grams of fat (or 1.5 additional grams of Fat)
And Carbs is the amount of Carbs minus the Total Fiber = Total (true) net Carbs.
