Hello Zoner experts! I currently drink 100 ounces of water a day-about 3/4 of a gallon and follow the zone guidelines. I usually work second shift and have no problem having a bowel movement at the same time each morning, as soon as my feet hit the floor. The stool is soft and easily exits my body Two weeks ago I was transfer to work first shift. I get up and have breakfast, exercise etc. 3 hours EARLIER. I have been experiecing serious constipation-I no longer can "go" immediately after waking up. When I do have a bowel movement, it is "pebbly" and I must strain to have a small movement. After two or three of these movements within two hours, I am finished but I still feel bloated and don't the "empty, light" feeling I used to have. How can I fix this? I take the recommended amount of fish oil, also. Should I drink more water? I can easily drink more, if needed. Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks! |
