I agree with eyeballing portions by taking my palm as a measure unit, but I'm small framed and my hand is small, and my meat and cheese portions won't meet the 3 blocks allowance that I'm supposed to have for lunch and dinner, so let's say measure with your palm only if your palm is big enough to weigh 3 or 4 oz.!

    I shall always be nothing.
I can only want to be nothing.
Apart from this, I have in me all the dreams in the world.

LOL, one of the reasons why I don't use hand/eye method! I am small, like you. My hands are small, and I am only 5'1", so I can relate. I generally measure meat by the scale. Sometimes, my eyes are so big that the serving size can really "grow", too!
