I'm not sure which forum to post this on, so I hope I'm not too far off the mark.

All you zoners out there...I need help. I have 2 1/2 box of Met-RX Protein Powder and 2 boxes of Atkins bars from my previous diet. I can't let it go to waste as it's probably $150. or so. I'm wondering what I can do to make them zone friendly. I'm doing 11 blocks, 3 for meals, 1 for snacks. Obviously it's not the best scenario but I've got to try to make it work until they are gone.

Met-Rx Protein Powder comes in packets.
    Cal. 240
    Fat 2.5
    Net Carbs 14
    Protein 38

I figure if I just drink half of the Protein drink, that will give me 19 grams of protein, close enough. It will also give me 1.25 g.fat and 7 g.carbs. If I add 2 blocks of carbs and 3 blocks of fat, is that correct?

    Atkins Bar
    Cal. 240
    Fat 12
    Net Carbs 12
    Protein 18

If I add 2 blocks of carbs, would that work?

I know this is not ideal, but I can't let this go to waste.

Am I correct in my calculations?

Yes, I think your calculations look just fine. Like you said, might not be ideal, but if you don't want it to go to waste, then looks like you could try working it in that way.

Thanks, cat! I obviously need help with my calculations since I've been goofing up so much. It's nice to have a checker! And it feels good to have gotten it right.

I wish I didn't have to use this stuff but my husband would have a fit if I didn't.
