 9/5/03 edit: The reappearance of a couple "sharks" among 71 registered members (as of this moment) prompts the poll question. A problem recently occured on this forum where posters (professing no interest in practicing the Zone diet) created and dominated discussions with skeptical/cynical chatter. At worst, there was an effort to create distractions and disrupt honest communication. One person is probably scheming to crash the new edition of this forum right now. Please add your comments about the etiquette on this forum. Charlie (a student of the Zone)

Looks like it Charlie, but I'm sure the sharks will find a way in.

Hi Scott.... I'm encouraged to see that the communications some of us have had with Sears Labs in the past, has finally brought about some changes here. I'm glad the we were finally able to help them to see the light! While I don't know if it will solve the "intrusionary" (is that a word or did I just invent it?) problems we've been experiencing, from what I understand, it will at least be easier for them to combat it. Now...as long as the "moderator" or whomever is watching over us remembers to click their heels at the apropriate times...this should be a much more productive and FRIENDLY place to be. :D Jim

Good Afternoon All... As with all new systems, there are always some bugs to be worked out in the beginning. Hopefully the learning curve won't be too lengthy and the cleanup will take place. Pollution is a pain isn't it? JF

 Hi Charlie: Thanks for the poll. That is really cool! >>The reappearance of a couple "sharks" among 71 registered members (as of this moment) prompts the poll question.<< And there will be more to come unless controls are put in place immediately. >>A problem recently occured on this forum where posters (professing no interest in practicing the Zone diet) created and dominated discussions with skeptical/cynical chatter. At worst, there was an effort to create distractions and disrupt honest communication. One person is probably scheming to crash the new edition of this forum right now.<< The previous Zone forums were crashed IMHO with this cynism and negativity and yes you are right Charlie, this person or persons will try again on these new forums. They do not want answers; all they want to do is rant and rave, and when provided with logical answers, will not listen. On the previous forums there was no room for any discussion about the Zone diet, let alone a person have enough courage to ask a question, less they get their heads bitten off for not researching. Even one when did research they were called names like promotional volunteer, Sears lackies or wobblers etc. >>Please add your comments about the etiquette on this forum. << I would like to see healthy debates about the Zone lifestyle as I think simple questions and answers can be plain boring, but if one is here simply to cause havoc, distrust, call people names and send mean private messages to others, then we need tigher controls on this site.

Rocky Steele and Weila Smith registered one right after another. Is someone standing on the bow, ready to fire? JF

Hmmm..... Registered just before Rocky. Knowing that Rock is 68 years old, is it a coincidence that nietsnie1935 registered just prior to RockySteele2003? That makes 3 sharks cruising the waters...
