I am not trying. But within the past 9 weeks I have lost 17 pounds? Can anyone tell me why this is happining? I am 52 years old, I used to weight 162, now I weigh 145. I'm not complaining. But, I'm not trying. Is something wrong? Thanks. Please answer if you can. deb |

deb, If you mean that you've been eating the Zone diet for the past 9 weeks and you've lost 17 lbs, that would not be a problem. If you have not been doing the Zone, and did not change your eating habits 9 weeks ago, then you might want to check it out with your doctor. |

deb, you didn't think dr sears' book was a joke, did you? -lol- it *really* works for many, many people. it *isn't* like any other diet - except for all the folks who stole his initial idea and re-branded it without any real knowledge of the underlying science. you are basically losing excess body fat as your body is now *tuned* to burn excess fat instead of locking it in and burning carbs. i'm much closer to a seeing my abs at 41 than i ever was a kid - and i worked hard to get a six pack way back when. my high carb, low protein diet wouldn't let me at 18 with a ton of activity, but the zone will at 40+! |

That would be successful Zoning. If your body has just magically started losing without any change in your eating or exercise, would you mind terribly changing bodies with me? Joell |

Hi Deb,
Congradulations on your success in such a short time, I would love to hear from you (if you have the time of course) about your typical breakfast, lunch dinner and snacks. Where are you getting your receipes from? I am convinced that you are doing something different as my weight loss is extremely slow < 1lbs / week
Many thanks Nacera from Australia |

Congratulations, Deb! You are losing weight at a good rate ... I wouldn't worry about it being too fast. Joell, you are too funny! I want her body, too! Do you think we could share? LOL! |
