I am always short on time and one thing I keep seeing is Chicken, fish, etc. at Costco already cooked (grilled) then frozen so I just have to warm it up if I am in a hurry and need a protein. Do you think that is o.k. to use? Do they lose nutrients?

My opinion it would be a good choice. Fresh always tastes better, but, from my experience Costco tries to sell quality items.

I have used frozen cooked chicken a lot in the past. My only concern is watching out for the amount of sodium. Some of the brands have MUCH higher sodium content than others. This may only be a big deal if you are sensitive to sodium levels or are watching your sodium intake carefully. Just something to be aware of.

I just got a membership to Costco so I'll have to check out their selections! I have heard their food is of very good quality.

How much is a membership at Costco's? I just recently found out that there is one around here.

I am back in "the zone" and loving every bit of it! I did the zone about 6 years ago and lost about 25lbs., went down 3 dress sizes and felt amazing! I went to college, didn't follow the zone and gained everything back and more. Now I am back in "the zone" and staying there.

I think mine was $49. I joined at Christmastime when I was looking for a karaoke machine for my daughter and couldn't find one anywhere. Someone mentioned they had one so I went. It was $70 cheaper than anywhere online I had found the same model so I joined and bought it, figuring I already made up the membership cost with just that one purchase.

It took me about 3-4 months. During that time I really wasn't working out, I was lifeguarding and sitting on my behind. So if you are working out I assume you probably would gain more muscle mass faster. Remember, don't worry so much about the numbers. Determine how well your clothes are fitting. If you want keep goign back to the calculator on this site and put in your measurements. You probably are just gaining more muscle but you are losing body fat. Remember, muscles weigh more than fat.

On another note, I am trying to lose about 25lbs, again. So we can just urge one another on. Give it time and be confident. :)
