Subject: Pretty Good Zone-ish Bar!

HI All!

My family and I travel around a lot and work in places where you can't easily eat in the zone all the time - so we're working with bars. But a lot of the zone ones have high sat fat and white sugar.

I found some whey protein powder and bars from a company called JayRobb, and they're good! No fakey sugars, they've got fiber, and no trans fats or palm kernel oil - and they're vegetarian.

The bars are not perfectly in the Zone: The Fudge Brownie one is 2P 2C and 3F, but I usually do an extra fat before a workout anyway. But it has 6 g of fiber - woot!

I've only seen them in Vitamin Shoppe stores, but for some reason, they're not available at the online VitShoppe.

Just thought you'd wanna know about a new snack possibility.

I will have to keep my eyes open for them! The extra fat should be helpful in the bar's ability to control hunger, without adding too many calories.

Pricey or not, at least they are AVAILABLE in stores.

Would have to try them to see if they keep me in the Zone. I think each person will have their own unique experience with them, as to whether or not these bars keep you in the zone. Just like we have discussed in prior bar threads, that some people stay in the zone with other bars, while others do not.
