Looks like you got your answer!

I feel that yellow squash is a really important veggie to eat in the zone. As we add more color to our meals, we get more vitamins!

Oh, I meant yellow squash, not butternut! Butternut is unfavorable, whereas yellow squash is considered favorable. I use it similarly to how I use a green zucchini.

Of course, as unfavorable as a butternut squash may be, there is still some good vitamin content there, too!

Speaking of squash, have you tried spaghetti squash? It is another variety of squash that is yellow (and therefore would have similar vitamin content to the other yellow squash's). I enjoy serving it like I do pasta, and putting the same kinds of toppings on it as I do pasta. YUM!

Yellow is like zucchini and is a favorable carb. Butternut (and red curry :() are not favorable. Of course, because they are yummy!

Spaghetti squash is on the favorable list. We eat it as a "pasta" side dish.

YUM! We eat spaghetti squash like that, too--as a pasta dish.
