I was one of those women who thought I knew how to eat right. I had done the Atkins, Weight Watchers, even the Abs Diet. I did lose weight, but never got the results I really wanted and definitely never changed my body composition...until the Zone.
I started Zoning nine months ago, and my results have been incredible. I have always struggled with a sugar addiction and thought that I always would. But after just a couple of weeks on the Zone, and after cleansing my body from all of the sugar I used to put in it, I found my cravings subsided almost completely. It's not that I didn't think of sweets, but I was able to talk myself through a craving, asking, "Is this really worth it?" I now know how that sugar will make me feel, and the answer is normally "NO!"
I feel I also need to mention that I utilize an intense training program called CrossFit, which has drastically aided in turning my fat into muscle. CrossFit is the Zone Diet’s biggest supporter, and the reason I gave it a try. I mention this because I never believed that my diet could have a drastic effect on my performance. However, once I started Zoning, I began to improve by leaps and bounds.
I still consistently PR (personal record) on almost every workout, and no longer have to stop for breaths or break my intensity out of lack of energy. I also recover much quicker, thanks to a healthier diet. I've lost 35 pounds and four dress sizes and haven't had to struggle or starve myself.
