Favorites

I was thinking it would be nice if we could have a favorite button. I would like to be able to save some recipes or go back and read certain things that other members have posted in the past without having to go back and search for them all the time. Maybe that's something that could be added with a future update to the website. Anyone else interested in this idea?

Paula

recipes

It wouldn't be technically difficult to get the measurement units used for the recipes switched from Am (cups, onces etc.) to Eu ones (grams etc.). The target of the website visitors would be much larger.
Thanks.

Body Fat Calculator

Hello,

I have recently started the zone diet and I have been calculating how many blocks I should be eating based on conversations with friends that have done zone/still do the zone diet. I am trying to use the body fat calculator to determine my own block requirements but I can't seem to get it to work! I am putting in all my information but when I press calculate, the page refreshes, basically. All the blocks just go back to being blank and I don't get a result for block requirements based on my stats.

As an active, athletically built female, I have been going off of 3 4-block meals and 1 2-block snack.

Help!

Thanks!
Danielle

Can't find my post

I posted a post yesterday and I can't remember where I posted it. It's not showing up on My Topics, but it does show up when I search "no sugar" in the forum search box. Then when I click on it, nothing happens. Can you help me figure out where I posted it? (I'll remember where I put this post!) Down 20 lbs as of today! Yeah!
Zone classic recipes

Tech Support,
I read on another thread that the Zone Clasic Recipes are being checked to make sure that they are balanced.
Putting some kind of a notation or a star or some other way of notating which Zone Clasic Recipes have been gone over to make sure that they are calculated correctly would be so helpful. ( unless that project is finished and then it wouldn't matter). :)
Any chance of that happening?
Thanks for keeping us up to date.
Paula

AA list

As I was participating in another thread, this idea hit me...

AA control is such a huge component of the Zone, yet it is nearly impossible to avoid it entirely without eliminating all animal sources (even grass fed/range fed animal products contain AA, just in smaller amounts). I think it would be great to have a list posted on the website broken down by protein blocks, listing out AA content of the food per block (I think it would be easier to compare one food to another if broken down into block sizes, which we are quite familiar with).

Ability to edit posts?

IMHO it should be possible to edit a post within an hour or so after submitting it.
There are lots of instances where people (including me!) post 2 or 3 things because they need to complement what they said in a previous post, that got locked.
the drop down deals is showing up so many times it really annoys me

I don't mind if the drop-down deals menu drops down and block my view from what I'm reading once or twice. We gotta sell and all that ... and I understand.

But when it drops down something like a dozen times or more in the span of five minutes as I wander all over the website, reading various stuff, forcing me to manoeuvre around the drop-down menu in order to read the webpage , I get annoyed.

I keep clicking on it to get it to go back up out of the way, and it then drops down again several seconds again, and then again, and then again ...

I do not understand this ...

Sarah

Get Server Fixed!!!

This website is a wonderful service. Too bad it's frequently messed up. Today I could not place an online order--wouldn't let me get to the 'Submit Order' page of the process. Server issues. And now, I can't get to the weight loss forums. Server issues. What's up with this?

Metric/ imperial measurements

Hi is there any chance of simplifying calculations by having both Metric and Imperial measurements? Even if just if for the calculators. In Australia we have not used inches, pounds, ounces, I think since about 1966 forgive mew if it was the 1970's but there are not many tape measures in inches. It's all centimetres, metres, kilograms, grams etc Just a thought.
Thanks
Angela in Oz

making account changes

I know this has been discussed before, but I will bring it up again...

It would be SOOOOOO convenient if we could have the capability of editing our autoships and our billing information right here on the website.

For example, I have an autoship that has not arrived, and just received an email that stated that my credit card was not processing the charges for my shipment. Well, I had to cancel my card, so I am not surprised. However, it is a lot easier to come to the website and change the saved billing information, rather than to pick up the phone and call customer service.

I am sure there are others that agree, as this has been a recurring problem for quite some time, and quite a few others have posted about similar issues.

Is anyone listening to the customers?

Menu Planning

Good Evening.

I had posted a thread about Menu Planning and Shopping Lists, and wished that this site had the Zone Classic Recipes, and ZoneFast Recipes all set up, so that we could easily make menu's, based on our family makeup (gender/number of people and it calculates the blocks for the recipes) and grocery shopping lists; and then I actually found a site that is an interactive Zone Diet menu planner:

formulazone
Would you please create something similar for this site, so that we can use the recipes in the books, online, and with the Zone Fast products as well?

Thank you.

Zone Classic forms

Good Evening.

I am unable to find the Zone Classic forms that used to be on the older site, such as the food log, although I did see the Zone fast log.

Also, CranberryCat mentioned in another thread I started about meal planning and shopping lists:

"04 Oct 2011 05:15 PM	QuoteReplyAlert
Way back, years ago, there was a shopping list feature to this website (this was when the website was by subscription). They had a weekly menu plan, and then a shopping list based off of the menu for the week.

It would be nice to see a similar feature like that again!"

And I agree with her.

Would you please add the Zone Classic forms to the "tools" section again?

Thanks.
